This LA Rental Apartment Has a Sunny, Plant-Filled Breakfast Nook
“Step into our cozy mid-century modern apartment, where every nook is brimming with lush greenery and the scent of palo santo fills the air. As a nutritionist, I’ve made it my mission to infuse our home with a healthy, vibrant energy that reflects our lifestyle,” writes Alexandra Catalano, who shares this 1940s rental apartment in Los Angeles with her boyfriend and their dogs.
“I live here with my hilarious boyfriend, Nick Renaud, a photographer who moonlights as a scare-master when he’s not capturing wedding moments. His knack for surprising me keeps life endlessly entertaining — especially with the help of our two bossy little dogs who seem to think they’re in charge,” she writes.
Alexandra explains that their home “is full of charming quirks like crown molding and a quirky ironing board that magically pops out of the wall.”
“It’s a space where vintage meets modern, and laughter fills the rooms alongside the scent of fresh plants. Welcome to our little slice of paradise!” she writes.
