Name: Alexis
Location: Victoria, British Columbia

About a year ago, I found a space advertised on Craigslist- I made an appointment to see it with little information and virtually no pictures. As cliche as it sounds, I just had a really good feeling about it… The moment I pulled up to the home, I instantly fell in love.

I’m one of nine apartments in a designated heritage house, which sits on over an acre of land. The yard is gorgeous- it’s a totally rare landscape considering I’m located about 5 mins from downtown.

Aside from painting the majority of the apartment, I’ve put a lot of time and care into pulling the space together (I have an eclectic mix of antiques and a collection of furniture that I’ve acquired over the past decade. I feel like the space suites it all really well!).

I’m not 100% sure of measurements, but I would assume the apartment is about 1,000 square feet. I have two working fireplaces, and a bit of ocean view from the turret windows.

I know I’m a bit biased, but as far as ‘rentals’ go I think I hit the jackpot. I feel so lucky to be here!!

Thanks, Alexis!
