Last month, dancer and fitness instructor Amanda Kloots shared the heartbreaking update that her husband, actor Nick Cordero, passed away due to coronavirus complications. Kloots had been keeping the world up to date on his harrowing experience with the virus on her Instagram—and now, she’s shared another emotional update on the platform.

Last Friday, Kloots shared a sneak peek of the Los Angeles house she and their 1-year-old son Elvis just moved into, including a moving tribute to her late husband. The slideshow of her new kitchen showcases a breakfast nook with a wraparound kitchen counter in the first photo, two wooden chairs with woven leather straps in the second photo, and a very special dining set in the third photo.

The dining table is engraved with the title of the late Broadway star’s hit song “Live Your Life.” It’s a beautiful tribute that will not only keep Cordero’s spirit alive, but serve as an inspiring reminder for Elvis.

And the kitchen items are just a few of the family’s belongings that she’d started moving into the new place. “It is starting to feel like a home!” she wrote in the caption.

Late last month, she told People that the couple was finalizing their move from NYC when Cordero passed away. Kloots and her son had been staying in Cordero’s best friend Zach Braff’s guest house while they waited for their home to be completed.

From Kloots’ new post, it seems like reminders of Cordero and their life together is helping the healing process. “I know Nick is with us too and is as blown away by the transformation as I am,” Kloots wrote in the caption. And we can’t wait to see more!
