Amazon Is Selling the Cutest Mini Washing Machine (It’s Portable!)

This year I’ve been traveling more than ever and absolutely loving it, but I’ve learned how quickly space fills up when you’re only allowed to bring minimal luggage or have to travel light. When I came across this Mini Portable Washing Machine from Amazon on Instagram, though, it really got me thinking. It’s small enough to bring on travels so I wouldn’t have to pack as many clothing items, and I could store things inside of it among my luggage. Also, since it’s rechargeable, I could bring it on camping trips, too. It might just be genius.

The Anbanglin Store’s Mini Portable Washing Machine, which is available on Amazon, is a USB-powered device with a 1-liter capacity, specifically designed for washing all kinds of small items such as socks, undergarments, light shirts, bras, facecloths, hair bobbles, and headbands. (I saw some reviewers say they put their rags and sponges in there, too.)

The machine’s base is made with a silicone slip-resistant pad so while it operates it’ll stay put, and the outer shell is constructed from PVC. This clever machine features two modes for efficient and deep cleaning, one being a five-minute quick wash and the other being a 15-minute power wash. To choose a setting, all you need to do is hold down the button for 2 seconds for a quick spin, or press the button twice for the longer (but still short!) cycle. Simply add water and a very small amount of detergent, then you’re good to go.

One, this is a genuinely supercute little machine. I like that it could offer a quick sanitization of small items like sponges, rags, or underwear when needed, especially in an environment where I might not have access to a ton of water or electricity. I also really like the streamlined design of the washing machine. It somewhat reminds me of a fancy watercooler or blender, in a good way, and it’s nice that thought has gone into the machine’s aesthetic.

Whether you’re going on a trip and would like to save space on socks, your family is going camping, or your baby has spilled pasta sauce on their bib for the fifth time today and you’d like to wash the stain out ASAP instead of doing a full laundry load, this gadget has so much potential — and I’m not the only person seeing it.
