Happy World Nutella Day! 10 Recipes
(Image credit: Apartment Therapy) I don’t spend a lot of time pointing out so-called “food holidays” that celebrate specific foods, but I can make an exception for one of my favorite treats: the creamy combination of chocolate and hazelnut, more popularly known as Nutella. • 10 Nutella Recipes The Kitchn

Before & After: Richard’s Toronto Studio Redesign
A couple of years ago, a friend and I decided to invest in a home that we could fix up, and flip in a year or two. I also needed a place to live. I took on the role of general contractor, landlord and designer. I also took over one of the units on the second floor of this 4-plex. See the step-by-step transformation below.1) Paint fence and the wall white – this cleans up messiness and brightens the whole space. It also unifies the disparate vertical surfaces.

Before & After: Joellyn’s Grandma Kitsch to Modern Kitchen
I had the great fortune of moving into my grandparents house on our family farm a couple of years ago. It hadn’t been touched much since it was built in 1971, so we saw it as an opportunity to make it exactly what we wanted… starting with the removal of the mostly original carpet. It covered the entire house from kitchen to bathroom!  Since it’s a working farm, our house projects are limited to winter time.
