I want to welcome you to our quaint little home located in the Avenues near downtown Salt Lake City, UT. This is where my husband Bryan, our baby girl and I live.

This 1,000 sq ft rental has comfortably been our place of home for 3 years now and I have just about design devoured every square inch of it. Transforming these place with its 12 ft ceilings, stark barren walls and large rooms in to a place of peace from the busy world outside us.

My design style has changed within the 3 years we have lived here, it changes with the seasons of life. Now that we have little Veva, I have found myself being inspired by her bright spirit, and utilizing that through color. I now have more vivid pops of color through out our home, a palette that was innovated by my little girl. When before it was a very monochromatic black and white color scheme.

I love mixing the old with the new. My design style for our home is contemporary with a twist of chic. I am all about the hunt, the hunt for a great piece of furniture that is eye capturing, yet enticing. It doesn’t need to be the most expensive rug in the magazine, but something that tells a story. One of my favorite pieces is my old vintage black trunk I use as a coffee table. It was one of my dearest friends grandmothers she brought over from Europe. She was selling it a yard sale, so I snatched it up as soon as I laid eyes on it. Now it is a home for all my knit blankets I take out during the holidays.

I believe that all spaces should inherent a sense of style and personality, in order to create an excellent design. My interior aesthetic for a well designed room is to incorporate character, color and good company.
