Lehua Parker writes speculative fiction stories for kids and adults that are often set in her native Hawai‘i. Her published works include the Niuhi Shark Saga trilogy, Lauele Chicken Skin Stories, and Lauele Fractured Folktales, as well as various plays, poetry, short stories, and essays. An advocate of indigenous voices, she is a frequent speaker at conferences, schools, and symposiums.
