About Me
Lisa del Rosso trained as a classical singer at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) living and performing in London before moving to NYC. She is the author of Confessions of an Accidental Professor and You Are All a Part of Me published by Serving House Books, as well as four plays. Her writing has appeared in many publications, including The New York Times, The Lemonwood Quarterly, Etched Onyx Magazine, Ran Off With The Star Bassoon, The Night Heron Barks, Chillfiltr Review, and The Literary Traveler. Her essay “By Choice” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. She is the founder of Scapegrace Writers’ Workshop, based in NYC for the past 15 years. In 2019, she was awarded a New York Writers Workshop scholarship to Sardinia. She is the recipient of a 2018 NYU (New York University) College of Arts and Sciences teaching award, where she currently teaches writing.
