Before & After: A 1920s Bungalow Is Unrecognizable Inside AND Out After a Cute Remodel
Name: Rebecca Moffett and Audrey, the Bassett Hound
Location: Beloit, Wisconsin
Type of home: Bungalow
Size: 750 square feet
Years lived in: 1 year, owned
Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I chose my home because of wanting to downsize and be situated for retirement. The nice-sized yard was a blank slate, which allowed me to use my gardening skills.
I transplanted many of my perennials from my previous home. Remodeling the bungalow was a challenge at times, but for the most part a joy. It gave me the opportunity to start over in a place that was truly mine. Audrey and I love our new home!
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: 1920s Bungalow with cedar siding
What is your favorite room and why? The main area because it’s eclectic, bright, and inviting.
