Making over an area like the bathroom can seem like a small project. At first it feels as though only a few things will need refreshing or changing out — but often once things get started it seems as though everything must go. In this bathroom highlighted on This Old House, everything received a makeover from hardware and fixtures to lighting and paint — all for $439!

I ran across this floor to ceiling makeover over at This Old House and there isn’t one small bit of the room that hasn’t been touched in some manner. The wooden sub floors were painted and sealed to look like tile, the vintage sink hardware was painted and sealed to give it a more modern feel and the walls took paint like a champ!

The whole process only set the homeowners back $439 — $221 of which was lighting. So if you could stand to make do with the lighting you have, this makeover could be yours for the small price of $218 bucks! How cool is that? Check out the full tour of the bathroom with more photos and tips on how the makeover went down over at This Old House.
