Bianca, an artist, was on the hunt for a slim and small storage piece to stash her art supplies in style. She was about to head over to IKEA to plunk down some cash on a new purchase, when at the last minute she decided to take a peek at her favorite junk shop. She was in luck!

From Bianca:

I was searching for a slim sideboard to fit some of my art supplies, such as large canvases and rolled prints. I saw a simple but not so attractive piece that had the size that I was looking for at IKEA online. So the day I went to buy it, I thought to myself, why not check one of my favorite junk shops in Berlin just in case, because I knew I would prefer a vintage piece. And there I found this baby for less than 50 Euros (IKEA would have been three times more) and it got delivered for free (because I bought an old chair as well).

I went straight to the hardware store to buy some paint. Something bright and bold to bring some more color to the room. I went for a color called avocado green since green is one of my favorite colors anyway. Got home, the piece was delivered an hour later and I started painting right away. It took me less than 30 minutes.

Thank you Bianca!
