Summer is in full swing and many of us have been busy with all sorts of home renovation projects. We might be making pillows, clothing, quilts, or just a nice tea cozy to keep the kettle dust free when it’s not in use. So how do you use up the little leftover fabric scraps? Simple: all at the same time, of course!

Even the smallest scraps can be put to use in this fun striped lumbar or bolster pillow. It’s perfect for finishing off the look of your bedroom, or even as a long floor pillow for your family room.

It’s easy to think we have to use our scraps in some grand fashion, or even just to toss them, but this is a simple way to get them out of storage and into use. If you’re not into the multi-color look, make one anyway and give it as a gift. Handmade, homemade, and this time around, it’s also free!
