Kari found herself facing a familiar design foe, the too large white wall. She eventually landed on an ingenuous solution that added interest to the wall without sacrificing any of the cool.

From Kari: When we moved into our house last year, it was basically move in ready but we had a large, white wall in our living room and we had no idea what to do with it. For months we were at a loss, but after almost a year of trying to decide what to do with that giant, white wall, we decided shiplap was the way to go. Once the shiplap was installed, we decided that still wasn’t good enough, so we picked up IKEA SEKTION cabinets and made a floating “fauxdenza.” After one weekend, and several trips to Home Depot, our project was complete! The wall I once hated, is now my favorite space in our house!
