My husband and I renovated our R.V. to make it more livable and cozy before taking it on a cross country trip to Yellowstone. We did the entire project in 6 days, which was crazy, but fun!

We changed the dated woodwork by painting it a “modern greige” color then ripped out the old seating and replaced it with a couch from IKEA. We also replaced the dining room chairs with some more modern chairs from IKEA. We took out the factory window valances that came with the rv and replaced them with some window treatments from West Elm that were cut and sewn to fit the rv windows. The rest of the accessories were pillows and rugs and bedding which were all from Target, West Elm, or Marshall’s.

My husband was in charge of all the electrical work which was quite an undertaking. He took out the televisions and replaced them with flat screens. He had to rewire everything in order to accommodate the new flat screens.

The final result is a modern and fun home one wheels that we are looking forward to driving all over the country!
