Before & After: Vintage Dresser Goes For a Sweet Ride

Joseph picked this dresser up for $10 at a local thrift store, but wanted to do something special before it found a permanent home in his bedroom. After a lot of sanding, here’s what he came up with…

Honk your horn if you like the final result! Joseph went to great lengths to complete the look: the four tail lights are from a 1958 Impala and the drawer hardware is actually old Buick door handles he cut down to fit. He found them all on eBay. Finally, he painted the dresser with mustard colored stain, then sanded it lightly until he achieved a slightly distressed wood grain look.
