Before & After: Vintage Table Becomes Medical Miracle

Victoria’s bathroom needed storage— namely a perfectly sized table on which to keep frequently-used stuff handy, and off the sink counter. She got what she needed in the form of an antique medical table found in the basement of an estate sale, and priced at a whopping ten dollars.

The original enamel paint was in bad shape and flaking off in big sections. Victoria took to it with a wire brush, then eventually a power grinder. Next she used a spray primer and applied two coats of glossy white. She let it dry between coats and left it outside for a few days to lose the paint smell.

From Victoria comes this little piece of sage advice:

This table is a reminder of why you always, always, always go in the basement at estate sales…even if that basement is disgusting.
