It’s almost hard to believe that this is the same room! Becki decided to make the most of the room’s gorgeous natural light and create a boldly white and bright space.

Yes—they removed the stairs! As Becki states on her blog, this was an additional staircase, and really, “who needs two sets of stairs four feet apart from each other?”

From Becki: After the move to Vancouver forced us to get our stuff together and finish the remaining rooms, this one in particular got a major overhaul. The “production room” originally was used for printing photos, stretching canvas, cutting vinyl, etc., but with the move we sold our printer and decided to turn the space into a reading/library/study room with built in work desk. The room gets such beautiful natural light, and with access to the newly finished patio, it’s quickly becoming our new favourite room.

Thank you, Becki! You can see more on The Uncommon Law.
