How do you add color to a rental without painting? That was the challenge this client posed to Lisa of Olive Juice Designs. She responded by creating an inviting living room, perfect for entertaining, without pulling out a single paintbrush.
From Lisa:
A single apartment dweller in San Francisco contacted me to help her with her living room. She admitted that her apartment was lacking in many areas, and she was embarrassed to have friends over. She wanted something minimalistic, and conducive to entertaining small groups of people. The catch was that her budget was small and that she wanted a quick turnaround. Because the apartment is a rental, she did not want to spend money on painting walls, only to have to repaint them if/when she moved out. So color was brought in by way of textiles and art.
Thanks, Lisa!
