When the budget is tight and you can’t tear apart your entire bathroom to turn it into something you’d prefer, you’ve got to get creative. Jenna did just that with her bathroom, and it went from kind of sad to cheery! There are some simple but bold ideas in this makeover for both renters and homeowners.

From Jenna:

I have just finished doing a very budget ($65) makeover of my bathroom and I thought you might be interested in my little project 🙂 As part of the facelift I also made a copper hanging plant sculpture which is the feature of my updated bathroom. From Jenna’s blog post:

“The best thing about owning my home is that I can do whatever I want to it. Aaaaannnd the worst thing about owning my home is that I can do whatever I want. Doing whatever I want means I have to first actually make decisions and then find a way to make those ideas a reality without taking out a second mortgage to afford them!

I’d love to be able to completely remodel my bathroom but until I can afford such fanciful things I decided to give it a face lift over the last couple of days. I also wanted to keep costs down as much as possible which I was actually successful at doing for once!”

Thank you Jenna! Get the full budget breakdown and details of what she used to perk this bathroom up on her blog.
