Aimee wanted a home office, but was short a spare room. So she transformed an extra master bedroom closet, small as it might be, into a super organized and fully functional area for crafting and work:

From Aimee:

I was in desperate need of home office space, but we don’t have a spare room. Luckily, I have two closets in our master bedroom, and only needed one for clothes. I was able to turn the second closet into a functional work space that is extremely organized.

I painted the back wall with chalkboard paint, and installed a desk at bar-height (I like to stand when I craft). With a bookshelf and storage supplies from Ikea, the Container Store, and Office Max, I was able to squeeze a ton of storage into this one closet. I also added magnetic panels to the doors for added vertical space for hanging pictures and notes.

I am loving my new work space. I can get work done, organize bills and paperwork for the household, and even do an occasional craft project. When I’m done, I just close the closet doors and all of my projects and to-do lists are out of sight.
