We love when people add some style to utilitarian spaces. Alisha’s laundry room was making the chore even more of a drag, so with a weekend and $100, she gave the space a refresh.

From Alisha:

With 2 kids under 2 we do a lot of laundry – and our drab, impractical laundry room was making laundry a chore. By removing/painting the dated wood cabinets and adding a simple pattern this room brightened right up!

Time Spent – One Weekend
Cost – Under $100

> Remove upper cabinets and replace with laundry-storage friendly open shelf
> Paint lower cabinet and replace hardware
> Paint all walls, including adding irregular dot pattern

Sometimes, you just have to make the Laundry Room the most interesting room in the house!

Thank you Alisha!
