While Kristi’s fiancé loved the feel of this foam cube, she wasn’t feeling its bland look. With some pretty pouf inspiration, she covered this cube in something a little more stylish:
From Kristi:
Every magazine I get these days is peppered with gorgeous poufs! The only problem is, my budget doesn’t quite afford me the opportunity to purchase one. So, naturally I decided to make one. My finacé had this disgusting foam block that he refused to get rid of it because he loved the way it felt under his feet. Clearly we have different opinions on what’s more important: form or function. So, we compromised to save our relationship. The fabric was about $25, and the cube was about $15, so the total cost for this project was $40 … WAY cheaper than the ones I have seen in magazines and totally customized to fit my family room!
