If Stephanie’s kitchen layout looks a little lacking, that’s because it used to be a laundry room. Thankfully, she had some friends to help her reimagine the space and make it more functional.

From Stephanie:

This kitchen was a laundry room originally and part of a cozy little apartment. It was difficult to hide things like fuse boxes, verizon hubs, etc. Also layout was a bit of a challenge.
I enlisted the help of my friends Dan and John to help me brainstorm and make the kitchen more inviting and functional.
Dan and John added inexpensive task lighting, built a shelf that functioned and hid battery boxes, gave me ideas for a faux backsplash using paint, and changed the layout among other things. I painted one wall with chalkboard paint and added a nice little resin deer head. I mention because it adds some much loved whimsy. I love that my friends helped me so much but the space still retains my personal style.

Thank you Stephanie!
