We bet plenty of folks would have passed up this heavy laminate dresser, even if found in the “free” section of Craigslist. But not Breanna. She saw some creative potential for this forgotten furniture piece, instead transforming it into attractive and useful storage for a friend’s kitchen!

From Breanna:

This laminate dresser came from the FREE category on Craigslist and got a well deserved makeover for my friend, Abby. She needed some extra storage for her wine glasses and miscellaneous kitchen items and had the perfect spot for it.

Taking out two drawers, adding a shelf, wine glass rack and pallet board top, this brought the perfect pop of color to her apartment. As a renter, she’s unable to paint her walls and this was the perfect way to incorporate color into her space!

Love it! Such a great reuse of an old furniture piece in a new way. And that color is super bold and cheery. For more information on how Breanna did this transformation, including what paint color she used, visit her blog.

Thank you Breanna!
