Sarah and Keith knew it was about time to leave their cramped ’90s kitchen behind. While functional, the space was outdated and closed off. They wanted a space that flowed seamlessly with the rest of the vibrant, contemporary house.

They opened up the floor plan, and chose design elements like a neutral wall color and tile, white cabinets and light marble countertops.

Pops of bright green add a playful vibe, and a wall of art work created by their children make this kitchen the heart of the home.

Today, their formerly Colonial-style kitchen is now a modern space where family and friends can gather comfortably around a large center island.
