From Sam:
I really really hated our kitchen, but we basically couldn’t afford to make real changes to it because each change begets another change and the whole thing really needs more work than were personally willing/able to put into this house and at this time. We found awesome vinyl tiles from an Etsy shop in India called BleUcoin (they have so many options) and spent a good four hours laying them down carefully. They’re peel and stick with industrial grade adhesive. Then it became clear the backsplash needed an update, so I painted it with two coats of semi-gloss paint and primer in one, and one little roller. We added three vintage Citroen posters to the adjacent wall, and it was like we had a brand new room!!!
Their kitchen makeover proves you can fill your home with personality without a lot of money, and without changing a room too much. Thanks so much for sharing Stacy!
