Board games. Where do you keep yours? In our house, they teeter unsteadily in a big pile on the top shelf of our coat closet. Admittedly, this is not really a great place for them, especially when the time comes for the kids to grab one. A nice game cabinet would be ideal. A nice, colorful, unique and all-out fun game cabinet. Like this one.

Lori at Bleak 2 Unique certainly wasn’t going for a subtle makeover when she came across this cabinet. She loved the lines and sturdiness of the piece but was looking for a bit more personality. Some bright yellow paint, a few old board games and a bucket of homemade decoupage later and she had a one-of-a-kind game cabinet. The front and top are plastered with play money while the sides are covered with specific board game parts and pieces.

Although this is not a makeover for the faint of heart, we think this piece sure would look neat in a playroom or game room.
