Oh, the joys of online shopping. Not only can you bypass crazy long checkout lines and cramped dressing rooms, you get all the stuff you ordered delivered straight to your front door.

The only drawback: Returning items that don’t work for you can be trickier when the post office gets involved. That’s why it pays to know ahead of time which stores have stellar return policies, so you can have a totally worry-free online shopping experience. To help make your shopping endeavors go more smoothly, we rounded up nine stores with awesome return policies. Whether in-store or online, each of these stores offers refreshingly hassle-free returns, refunds, and exchanges—so read ahead and get ready to go shopping.

1. IKEA

As if we needed another reason to obsess over IKEA, the affordable housewares megastore has an insanely generous return policy. Appropriately referred to as the “No-Nonsense – 365 Days to Change Your Mind” policy, IKEA offers full refunds on items for up to one full year, as long as you keep the receipt. No proof of purchase? No problem, the store will simply issue you a merchandise credit equal to the lowest selling price of the item.

2. JC Penney

Packed with reasonably-priced merchandise ranging from bath towels to pet supplies, JC Penney is truly a department store dream come true. No surprise then that they offer full returns (with a few exceptions on pricier items like fine jewelry) or products at any time — yes, even ten years later — as long as you still have the receipt.

3. Bed Bath and Beyond

Thanks to their “easy returns” policy, Bed Bath and Beyond offers full returns at any time for their merchandise with a receipt. However, say your blender breaks after a year and you can’t locate the receipt, BB&B will allow you to exchange for a new one or issue a merchandise credit for the current selling price (sans 20 percent).

4. Anthropologie

Believe it or not, Anthropologie boasts one of the best return policies we’ve ever seen. Along with offering full returns on any item at any freakin’ time (save for certain types of furniture), no receipt necessary!

5. Nordstrom

Who knew that along with housewares and contemporary clothing, department store Nordstrom offered such a generous return policy. There’s no time limit on returns or exchanges, and they’ll even help you track down the original receipt.

6. Costco

With low-price merchandise ranging from groceries to gym equipment, it’s hard not to be a fan of Costco. They even offer full refunds at anytime for their products (save for electronics and appliances for which you only have 90 days). Even better, Costco customer purchase histories are all stored online, so you can still get issued a full refund sans an actual receipt.

7. Athleta

Sister store to the Gap, Athleta offers stylish but affordable workout gear for women. And while other Gap brands are a little less lenient, Athleta stands by their Give-It-a-Workout Guarantee, which means you can return any item, sweat stained or not, at any time for a full refund—they’ll even pay for the shipping.

8. Kohl’s

Thanks to their “Hassle-Free Returns,” it’s safe to say that Kohl’s offers one the best return policies in the game. With a few exceptions such as gift cards and electronics, Kohl’s will grant you a full refund for any item at any time, as long as you still have the receipt. And if you don’t have one, no worries, the store will just issue you a credit for the item’s lowest selling price.

9. Zappos

Along with offering a never ending supply of stylish footwear—and unlimited free shipping—Zappos gives you a full year to return an unworn pair of shoes, and will, of course, cover the cost of the shipping.
