This House In Beverly Hills Is Going Viral Because It Looks Like a Witch’s Cottage — Peek Inside

If you want to be transported into a storybook, then you have to head to Beverly Hills. A house on North Walden Drive has gone viral on TikTok because it looks like it’s been plucked out of a fantasy film, and according to locals, it’s been drawing the attention of whimsy-lovers for over 100 years.

The Spadena House (also called The Witch’s House) is a private residence that was built in 1921 by the silent film studio Willat Studios out of Culver City. It served as office space and dressing rooms for Willat Studios for just over 10 years before it was bought by the Spadena family in 1934, who converted it into a private home.

It’s now owned by Michael Libow, who allowed TikTok user Caleb Simpson (@calebwsimpson) to bring his followers inside for a fantastic tour. 

As stated in the video, Libow bought the Spadena House in 1998 and has kept the original whimsy completely in tact. Inside, Libow has put his antiques and tchotchkes on display in such a way that the place looks just as storybook-appropriate inside as it does on the outside.

“He looks surprisingly normal considering he lives in such a magical place,” one TikTok commenter wrote.

Libow is always up for visitors taking photos of the outside of his home, but because it’s his private residence, the public is rarely invited inside. This TikTok, which now has over 6.5 million likes, has finally satiated the curiosity of those who live in the area and walk by it on the regular.
