Looking for the perfect mix of Scandnavian serenity, interior trends, and effortless style? Look no further than Janniche’s Swedish home, the photos of which make her popular Instagram account an absolute wealth of Scandinavian style inspiration. Located in Bagarmossen, it’s near to the design center of Stockholm, but is surrounded by a little more nature. Janniche shares her home with her partner and their three kids (plus two cats), and she also runs the popular blog, Blogga i Bagis.

Describe your home’s decor style in 5 words: Personal, cozy, Scandinavian, vintage-modern, clean.

What’s your favorite thing about your home? I love my bookshelves in the living room where I display art and books. It’s very versatile and adds personality and color to the room.

What’s your least favorite thing about your home? The lack of light in the rooms where we almost never get any sunlight at all. In the summer it’s better though, and it’s such a difference when the sun rays find the way in.

How does your home’s decor reflect the region? I think our home has the typical Scandi style with a mix of old and new. I like it clean but I think the right amount of details makes the difference.

What’s the one thing that makes your space feel like home? Our kitchen.

What’s your best small space trick? I think that when you hang pictures up the wall it creates more depth and therefore more space.

What’s the most recent thing you’ve bought for your home? More thrifted ceramics and vintage wood details; I can’t get enough.

Thanks Janniche!
