Name: Brandon & Kate
Location: Humboldt Park — Chicago, Illinois

Our home is the top floor of a quaint little two-flat from 1891 in Humboldt Park Chicago. We fell in love with all the beautiful natural light that floods the apartment during the daytime and the simple white walls that were just begging for some artwork.

We used to sell vintage furniture so we have a large collection of furniture and home decor to pull from. We also have family heirlooms and gifts scattered about the apartment. Since we’ve ventured into handmade furniture we have a few prototype pieces in our apartment as well. We love our sliding door credenzas around here! Most everything in our home is either vintage, up cycled or handmade. We wanted a mix modern with a retro vibe. As minimal – but cozy- as possible. A good place to cuddle up with each other, the dog and the cat was key.
