As soon as Chad and I toured this apartment last year, we knew we had to have it! The 90 year old, 72 unit building building had a ton of character and was recently renovated, so it totally felt like a blank canvas just waiting for us.

Though it was our first time living together, it was awesome seeing our styles merge – Chad’s things were much more clean and modern (ie. Blu Dot credenza, Room & Board sofa), and mine were more vintage and colorful (ie. patterned pillows and refurbished bar).

It took a few months, but we finally got it to a really good spot that we absolutely love to call home. While out and about in Minneapolis, we get a ton of inspiration from other homes and furniture/antique stores…its an awesome, unique city to live in! We’re most proud of our wall of art (again, a mix-and-match of prints we’ve accumulated over the years) and our bar (gotta be stocked at all times!). Oh yeah, and our cat Olive!
