Just because you can’t physically go to your favorite brewery doesn’t mean the brewery can’t come to you. Thanks to the New York State Brewers Association, craft beer lovers can tune in for virtual happy hours from the comfort of home.

Every day at 6:30 p.m. EDT on Facebook Live, you can tune in to get insider knowledge from a different brewer across the New York state. During the one-hour happy hour session, attendees are able to ask questions and get to know well-known beer experts in the game—and there’s a different topic selected by the brewer for every session.

“Each brewer is bringing their own twist and their own personality to each one of these. They’re a lot of fun,” Paul Leone, the executive director of the NYSBA, told Travel + Leisure. “New York is such a big state… it gives people an opportunity that they might not [get to] go to these breweries normally, but may now visit these breweries if they happen to travel because they know a bit more.”

You can find the weekly lineup of brewers on the NYS Brewers Associate website, which is where you can click in to view each Facebook Live. This week, for example, beer experts from across the state are talking about things like how beer and fitness go together, what breweries can do to help during this challenging time, and what beers are best to drink versus brew.

“It’s a little bit of a human connection that most of us in the beer industry finish our day with a couple of beers with a couple of friends. This is a way to continue that,” Chris Ericson, who owns The Lake Placid Pub & Brewery and the Big Slide Brewery & Public House and is also the president of the board of directors for NYSBA, said.

And it goes without saying that if you have a beer of choice, bring it with you. Cheers!
