Brie Larson Gave a Glimpse Into Her Cozy, Curtain-Filled Bedroom
Actor, filmmaker, and newly-minted vlogger Brie Larson could easily add one more title to her list of accolades: designer. The “Captain Marvel” actor’s eye for design becomes more clear with each passing social media post offering glimpses into her Los Angeles home (hello, pastel walls and sage green couch!) — and her latest post is no exception. Larson shared a cover of singer Rosé’s track “On the Ground” on Instagram, showcasing a cozy curtain-filled room and an antique wooden headboard.
“A little @roses_are_rosie magic for you,” Larson captioned the video, although “magic” could be used to describe the simple light-filled bedroom, too. Everything in the room appears to be in the same monochromatic, subdued shade of off-white and beige. The post has inspired us to look into our own sets of billowing curtains and consider a sanctuary that utilizes just one recurrent color, or variation of, throughout.
It is unclear if Larson’s cozy space makes use of blackout drapery, but Pottery Barn has a Belgian Flax Linen Rod Pocket Curtain in ivory on clearance for $53.99+ (original price $109+) depending on size with a blackout lining option to block out the sun during the early mornings. The product is also available in a white and classic ivory hue, but those options retail higher at $109+.
CB2 also carries an elegant Natural Tan Basketweave Curtain that ranges between $29.95 and $59.95, too, depending on the size. The product is woven with 100 percent cotton and an opaque panel, ensuring privacy from the outside when pulled shut.
Prefer to mix and match to shake things up? Overstock has an Aurora Home Mix & Match Extra Wide Blackout and Lace Sheer 2-Piece Curtain Set that combines the best of both opaque and transparent worlds — and it’s on sale for $83.24 (original price $92.49).
We love a good curtain set — and a good Rosé cover.
