Name: Jennifer
Location: Sausalito, California

I enjoy living by the bay in the community of Sausalito. This beautiful home was the model for the complex. The location is perfect with beautiful views of Richardson Bay, Sausalito Marina, hills of Tiburon, Belvedere and Angel Island. The amenities include wood floors, crown molding, granite counter tops, gas fireplace, two en-suite baths. One covered parking space, storage. The development offers a community pool and clubhouse.

I definitely relax by the pool as soon as there is sunshine, which is ample. It is quiet, tranquil and the deck is perfect for coffee in the morning. I row crew on the Bay and ocean, so it’s a quick walk to get to the Open Water Rowing Center from my home.

The furniture in my home is a collection of custom designed or acquired from the Alameda Antique Fair held once a month on Alameda Island. Mark Pelagrino, a local designer, was instrumental in helping me pick colors and design the space. He’s a family friend, and I recall him handing me a paint wand full of pastel colors, I looked at him and said, “where are the vibrant ones?” Luckily I had a stack of paint samples and I was using them for shopping lists. That’s what lead us to the tangerine orange, hot pink and Cozumel blue colors. The space itself is inviting. The floors are all warm in color. I have south and East facing windows with beautiful greenery all around. It makes it feel like I am living in an elevated cabin in the woods on the ocean. Also, there’s Jorge, the longhorn bull skull to welcome me home every day.

Thanks, Jennifer!
