Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: So our home is a classic 1920s “shingle” type house with a beautiful wrap-around porch. We bought it in march 2019 and renovated almost everything… and still have some work here and there (does it ever stop though?).

I’m an interior designer and a the designer and host of my own TV show here in Canada. I live here with my husband who’s a firefighter (ex-contractor) so we team up pretty great when it comes to house renovations! We have a 4-year-old boxer named Stella and we are planning on expanding the family this year (baby and fur baby).

What is your favorite room and why? Favorite would be the kitchen. It sums up everything I like; white, wood, marble, paneling, antiques. We have beautiful wood windows that overlook the backyard and it feels private. It’s where we gather with friends and family.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last room we touched was the master — so that would be our wallpaper and bed linens from Zara Home and Serena & Lily.

Any advice for creating a home you love? It’s a simple advice but I find myself repeating it to almost every client: we are constantly seeing other peoples houses, other designers projects, new furniture, and decor. Instagram and Pinterest are great inspiration BUT it can be too much sometimes. I would say the most important thing is to stay cohesive and true to your style. It happens that I gravitate towards a colour and I want to put it in a room but I know I’ll be sick of it soon and it’s only a “trend” for me. Go with what feels most natural to you and speaks to you deeply.
