Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: In this space, I sought to communicate the personalities of its users and highlight the qualities of the space itself. It’s an apartment about 30 years old with big windows and a balcony with huge trees out front.
We fell in love with it from the first visit and would like to buy the place in the future, so we can do some renovations. We are people who really enjoy music, art, books, and spending time with family and friends.
My home really reflects me and my partner. It is full of furniture and elements that have been in both of our families for years. Some of the pieces were designed by myself and handmade by my team. It’s a cozy but vibrant space.
What is your favorite room and why? It is impossible to choose one. Every corner has a story to tell, and I truly love it.
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Caribbean Mid-Century
Any advice for creating a home you love? Focus on the personalities and lifestyles of the people who are going to use the space. Try to have pieces that have meaning. Listen to the space — it always has something to say.
