We are big fans of old school glam and Palm Springs vibes around these parts, so when we heard internet rumblings of Cary Grant’s former Palm Springs home going on the market, we were immediately intrigued.

The folks at Trulia describe the stunning property as “the last true luxury estate ever to be offered in Palm Springs.” And if that isn’t enough glamour and intrigue for you they go on to share the chic-as-hell history of the property: “This masterpiece was built for a Chicago Heiress in 1928 and has been lovingly restored while preserving its original Moorish architecture and integrity, including its 17 thick walls. Charlie Rich built the pool guest house for friend, Cary Grant, who named the estate Villa Paradiso for, as he said, it was all of that and more.”

For the $13 million dollar asking price you get four acres of picture perfect Palm Springs landscape, with Cyprus and Palm trees and desert views. The property consists of four different buildings, totaling 8 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, 3 kitchens and a 4 car garage. A few of the rooms boast themes, like the bright blue tropical bird room, or the leopard bar. There’s also plenty of showbiz memorabilia sprinkled throughout.
