Now that we’re collectively spending copious amounts of time at home (as we all should be under the social distancing guidelines), it’s probably becoming clear that some of your spaces are in need of a facelift. Luckily, celebrities practicing self isolation have been posting photos and videos from inside their homes, and interior design inspiration is flooding social media platforms.

Take, for instance, Jimmy Fallon’s treehouse-like home, which is believed to be his Hamptons vacation spot. Fallon’s been showing off the wild and quirky interior of his house through episodes of “The Tonight Show: Home Edition,” which he’s uploaded to YouTube during the “Tonight Show’s” coronavirus-caused hiatus.

The place is decked out in rustic wood panelling, Wes Anderson-style art, tree branch railings, wallpaper that looks like birch bark, and vintage kid toys. Oh yeah, and he has a slide that takes you from upstairs to downstairs.

To add some Jimmy Fallon flair into your own home, start pulling inspiration from nature. Wood tones, warm lighting, and rusty, old decor is going to make your place feel like a cabin in the mountains.

And if you’re as in love with that birch wallpaper as we are, check out this dupe from Home Depot.

Ellen Degeneres is another celeb who has been broadcasting from the comfort of her own home over the last few weeks. Unlike Fallon, Ellen is seemingly all about open, airy, and bright spaces with a lot of natural light and smooth surfaces.

She has marble and hardwood floors, huge windows looking out onto her lush Los Angeles backyard, and clean lines in terms of architecture and furniture design.

To bring Degeneres’s style into your space, try to choose pieces that are streamlined, simple, and neutral in color. Mid-century modern-style pieces like the Collins Chair from Joybird is a great dupe for the vintage chair seen behind Degeneres (and Tiffany Haddish).

Sunday night’s iHeart Living Room Concert for America gave a peek into the homes of the Backstreet Boys, Elton John, Billie Eilish, and more. The first to perform was Alicia Keys, whose bright purple piano might inspire many a paint project. Benjamin Moore’s Mystical Grape is a close match for the fruity hue.

Head over to your favorite celebrity’s Instagram page to check out what they’re up to at home, and take note of the decor behind them. You may just find some inspiration.
