They may not be cobbling together rent money on the 31st of every month, but there are many celebs out there who rent just like us. Of course, it’s usually for reasons other than not being able to afford to buy a home. Celebrities are attracted to renting because of the financial flexibility, as well as their transient lifestyles that takes them from movie sets across the globe. Here are six stars who plunked down serious cash for the non-committal real estate life:

Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons

Just last month, the supermodel and her baller boyfriend decided to rent a five-bed, six-bath home in West Hollywood. The 4,052-square-foot home is a veritable modern masterpiece with a serious price tag: $25,000 a month. For the long haul, Jenner will move into her $8.55 million home in Beverly Hills, which is currently undergoing renovations. Apparently she and the former owner, Charlie Sheen, have different tastes in home furnishings.

Beyoncé and Jay Z

When Bey and J welcomed their twins, Rumi and Sir, last year, they brought the dynamic baby duo home to a 10-bed, 14-bath estate in Malibu. Just one month in the 16,107-square-foot estate set the couple back $400,000. They could have splurged and bought the home for the $54 million price tag, but apparently Yoncé didn’t feel like rifling through her couch cushions for that spare change. This wasn’t the first time the couple decided to rent; back in 2015, they dropped $150,000 a month on a contemporary-style home in Holmby Hills.

Justin Bieber

If there’s one star who loves to property hop, it’s everyone’s favorite pint-sized performer Justin Bieber. Back in 2014, after he sold his Calabasas mansion to Khloe Kardashian (yes, really), Bieber moved into not one, but two, ritzy Beverly Hills condos that cost $16,000 and $11,000 per month. Apparently the Biebs got so rowdy that the condo hired private security to work from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. to keep things in line.

Joe Jonas

There’s nowhere to eat “Cake by the Ocean,” but we certainly wouldn’t complain about this 1960s mid-century modern estate. The former Jonas Brothers singer and current DNCE frontman spent $40,000 a month on the 3,323-square-foot home. We’re guessing just that circular bathroom with the massive soaking tub would fetch a few thousand alone.

One Direction

Of course, us plebes rent by the month. But when you’re One Direction, you don’t cringe at dropping $27,000 for just one week of ritzy real estate. Back in 2013, that’s exactly how much the crooners spent on a mansion on Mulholland Drive. The secluded mansion was tucked behind gates (gotta watch out for those fans) and measured 11,000 square feet, with an extra 2,500 square feet of outdoor entertaining space featuring a swimming pool and two spas.
