Everything Old is New Again! Come to Our Textile Pop-Up with Chairloom in Brooklyn April 27
Apartment Therapy and Chairloom will be together again this Saturday April 27th to jumpstart old reupholstery projects or begin new ones.
It’s a Happening: a chance to get together and get inspired. Come meet Chairloom’s Molly Andrews Burke as well as over 20 textile artists for the 2nd annual tent revival.
Molly and her team share a love and appreciation for vintage and antique furniture as well as a vision to customize pieces in need of reupholstery using unique and beautiful, fresh & often unexpected textiles. Chairloom believes that an old chair, settee, ottoman or sofa with a fresh start is a work of art!
As the poet Robert Hass once wrote, “everything that’s old is new again.” And as we say, what was lost is now found. ”
Note: We’ve just been told that even more textile artists are coming to our second Textile Tent Revival in Brooklyn this month. We will have over 20 with their stuff, in person and ready to talk shop and re-upholstering with you. Check out some images of what you will find:
Don’t buy new. Redo!
