I share an one bedroom apartment with my boyfriend in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our place is around 700 sq. ft, with a very nice large patio tucked under some beautiful trees from the street. We love this place because it is bright and airy, the living room gets a lot of light, especially in the morning. And our dog Danger loves to sunbath on weekend mornings. While the apartment itself doesn’t offer too much character we simply love the trees and nature in the area.

I did most of the decorating in the home and at the same time my boyfriend shares the similar taste and style that I have. My style is somewhat ecletic, and a bit of bohemian modern. I like to mix old and new and love to use colors, patterns, and textures. It is hard to say what my favorite item/room is. I do love the gallery wall I put together in the living room very much. The colorful throw pillow from anthropologie is probably my favorite item right now, it’s happily sitting on the couch. I also recently finished decorating our bedroom, and while it’s not perfect, it reflects our personal style and story very well.
