Eden Grinshpan is what you might call multi-talented. She’s a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in London, has hosted multiple cooking shows (most recently Top Chef Canada), and is the co-founder and executive chef of Dez, a fast-casual Nolita spot that serves Mediterranean food (and some killer style). As such, you’d expect her to have an enviable kitchen (which she does!), but the rest of her home is pretty great, too.

The Williamsburg apartment that Eden shares with her husband and daughter is spacious and full of light. In the main living area, a series of rugs helps define the different spaces: entry, living room, dining room. Eden’s a big fan of these floor coverings; she prefers to let color come from rugs and keep the rest of the elements more neutral. It works like a charm here: Eden’s home is lively but not overwhelming; full of stylish things but also beautifully uncluttered. It’s the perfect place to cook, to share with friends, or maybe just lounge around on a sunny day.
