Mamma Mia! Cher Lists Beverly Hills Home
Here we go again! Another celebrity has put one of their homes on the market and this time, it is the iconic Cher. The superstar singer/actress recently was promoting her role in the new film, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, but in classic Cher fashion, she’s been busy multitasking. She is now selling her Beverly Hills compound for a cool $2.499 million.
Compared to some celebrities, this is a steal in terms of price. The 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is 3,089 square feet. It is nestled in a secluded cul-de-sac at the base of an extensively engineered hillside. The home sits above Coldwater Canyon which is in the Beverly Hills Post Office area – meaning it has the coveted 90210 zipcode.
The Tudor-esque cottage home was beautifully remodeled to retain “relaxed comfort a country home with open floor plan and warm interiors.” All of the wood used in the home design makes it feel like the perfect retreat for a weekend in the country.
The property’s listing agents Branden and Rayni Williams of Hilton & Hyland told Mansion Global that Cher and her children, Chaz and Elijah, used the property as an in-town retreat.
The property is full of features that you’d expect in a celebrity home, like iron gates, a lush garden, a large outdoor entertaining space, beautiful views, a waterfall that goes into a koi pond, and even an area for meditation outside.
Along with that, the home has beautiful vaulted wood beam ceilings, hardwood floors made from reclaimed wood, a kitchen and breakfast dining area with stonework, a master suite with a bedside fireplace, and walk-in closets. One of the bathrooms even has a dual shower that spans the entire length of the room and French doors that open to a private deck with a spa. The home also has an office, a cozy sitting room, and 2-car garage with driveway.
What do you think of Cher’s Beverly Hills home? The waterfall alone is a reason to buy this! The listing is being handled by Hilton & Hyland and you can check it out on Williams & Williams Estates Group website.
