What’s cuter than a dachshund in a Christmas sweater? One hundred dachshunds in Christmas sweaters.

On Sunday, December 22, dachshunds and their humans (and other little dogs who wanted to hang with the dachshunds) gathered at Hyde Park in London for the Christmas Sausage Dog Walk. People has the photos, and they are adorable. We could look at close-up photos of dogs in their Christmas best all day. This is just like a U.K. version of Huntington Beach, California’s Corgi Beach Day. (Who else has special themed dog gatherings? We want to see them all!)

According to People, the Christmas Sausage Dog Walk was started in 2017 by one passionate dog mom:

“Held every year since local Dachshund owner Ana Rodriguez decided to organize a special holiday walk for her pooch Winston in 2017, the dogs all gather near the park’s Italian Gardens then set off for a short group waddle through the historic London greenery — which backs onto Kensington Palace Gardens, where Kate Middleton regularly walks her English Cocker Spaniel, Lupo.”

This year’s walk raised money for The Red Foundation, a nonprofit that, People says, “provides shelter, sanctuary and medical treatment for unfortunate Dachshunds in need of help.”

Rodriguez and the sausage dog crew get together monthly for walks around London’s parks. That’s good exercise for human legs and a serious workout for those tiny dachshund sausage legs.
