We love using Flokati rugs. The wool pile, classic Greek shags made popular in the 70’s came back into vogue for a while, but as opposed to other mod fads like bean-bag chairs and lava lamps, Flokati rugs have lasting power. We think it’s because they have proven to be a great way to create warmth and style without spending a lot of $$… plus they look great with so many styles.
Frank Gehry’s Easy Edges Furniture: Recreating a Cardboard ClassicStyle
We are so thankful for Frank Gehry’s Disney Hall for bringing unbarable style and design to an otherwise less than stellar down town scene. When we read that Vitra was reproducing his 1972 line of furniture called Easy Edges we were totally jazzed. The furniture is made from 60 layers of cardboard held together by hidden screws, and then edged in wood.
