Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: Our home is an Edwardian semi in northeast London. It’s a top-to-toe renovation and is now a contemporary, colorful, and eclectic family home that we feel is both functional and fabulous for modern family life.

Lots of white walls are broken up with feature ceilings, botanical details, and color pops in the form of furnishings and quirky details. Me and my husband Rob and our two children Teddy, 3, and Reggie, 1, live here together.

I would describe our style as a form of Scandinavian luxe with an occasional surprise. Clean lines and minimal stuff is brought to life with the use of color, wall murals, and bold pieces in each room. We’ve done a lot of the work ourselves and have developed our style throughout the journey.

What is your favorite room and why? Our family bathroom. It’s the first bold room I created; it feels like a hotel bathroom but perfectly straddles the fun family factor and luxury feel! I love the paneling and double sinks; the layout was a huge challenge and I’m proud of the solution I came up with to make it work. I just feel it’s the one room where everything just works and I wouldn’t change a thing!!!

If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? Our hallway! I would kill for original floor tiles, a light-filled hallway, and some statement stairs!

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? An Amazon ochre light shade for my office makeover. It was a very bold bargain that brings the office together.

Which fictional character would be most at home in your place? The pink ladies from “Grease” because well… I blooming love pink and they would look right at home in every room here.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Don’t just think about rooms individually, think about the whole house, the theme that runs through it—the ‘red thread,’ as it’s called.

I also try to have one old and one luxury item per room even if everything else is super modern or super cheap.

I live by this little poem:
Something new
Something old
Something spenny $$$$
And something gold
