This UK Home Boasts Lots of Pink, Leopard Print, and an Incredibly Colorful Garden

Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: My home is a small Victorian terrace. It was a two-bedroom, one-bathroom but we have extended into the loft, and now have a second bathroom and third bedroom. Also we did a side return kitchen and knocked a wall to make it open plan along with a conservatory. Oh and a garden room I’m turning into my office. I love the Art Deco era, pink, and leopard print. The rooms are different styles but all flow.

I was a senior analyst in the City of London but after a redundancy am now enjoying my hobby of interiors. I qualified as a designer 17 years ago but had not worked in the industry; I regularly collaborate with brands on Instagram. My husband, James, works in the motor trade and our son, Hayden, is 14 in a few weeks.

I think the home and I are similar; I dress as my home in leopard print and pink. I like to stand out.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Maximalist, colorful, eclectic, and interesting

What is your favorite room and why? My loft bathroom. I designed it from scratch and love the pink and green Art Deco style. It gets a lot of love on Instagram.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last thing I bought was a pergola for the garden.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Do not follow rules; do what makes you happy. Having to spend so much time in our homes, it’s lovely to make a home that reflects your style and you can spend time in it and smile and be happy.
