When Lucie and Karina first saw the exterior of the building, they said they initially felt scared, as the front door was in rough shape, but the couple decided to give the 990-square-foot apartment a chance — and it’s a good thing they did. 

“The realtor walked us through the building to the apartment, and once she opened the door, we immediately felt like we were home,” the couple explains. “The size of the apartment was perfect for us, and we really fell in love with the layout of the living room that is so open to the kitchen, which makes it the heart of the apartment with so much light and open space.”

It’s been six months since the couple and their two Shiba Inus, Cappuccino and Bambi, moved into the light-filled, spacious, and airy apartment. Karina and Lucie have utilized the new space’s bonuses, too. 

When Karina and Lucie aren’t enjoying the ample space their new home provides them — it’s a big bonus that they have a separate office space — you can often find them walking their pups in the dog-friendly parks or enjoying the nearby cafes and restaurants. 

What was once a risky rental tour blossomed into a modern and contemporary home. It’s so great that Lucie and Karina stepped through the front door — now you can, too.
