Courteney Cox usually loves a simple, bright, and airy aesthetic. But the actress went from light and airy to dark and moody in her brand new summer bedroom redo. Cox shared a before-and-after video of the makeover on her Instagram and included a few clues for how she pulled the entire thing together.

“Between @anthropologie, @wertzbrothers, @amazon, @etsy and @westelm,” Cox captioned her post. “It was a snap!”

If you love the look of the dark tones in Cox’s space, you can pick up some of the exact same pieces she used to bring the look together.

Cox’s gorgeous new four-poster bed frame is the Rosalie bed from Anthropologie. Though it looks black in Cox’s post, it’s actually a dark indigo color. It comes in a light gray finish, too.

The nightstand is Anthropologie’s Handcarved Lombok Entryway Cabinet in indigo. She hung an antique Moroccan lamp above the nightstand, which she likely picked up from Wertz Brothers Furniture, along with a few other vintage and antique accessories.

The wallpaper behind the bed is called Forest by Cole & Son. It’s a dark and gothic botanical print featuring various illustrated trees and rolling hills. Cox pulled the teal color from the wallpaper and painted the other four walls of the room to match.

Cox even put a lava lamp in her finished redesign. This one from Amazon is under $25 and features the classic green lava in blue water.

When the summer heat becomes unbearable, Cox can now retire to her cool and moody bedroom to chill out, relax, and drift off into dreamland.
